FCCLA

Each year, every single one of our members creates a project. This project teaches everyone how to become a leader in our home, school, community, country, and the world! There is no other orginization like FCCLA. When they create ideas for their projects, they often have no or little help thinking of something to do. STAR Events (the official name of our projects) are projects that help the community and/or surrounding communities. There are also GREAT leadership opprotunities other than doing projects! Chapter members have a chance to become part of the FCCLA executive council at the chapter, district, state, and national level! Being a member and possibly a chapter officer is something that is great to have on a resume. It shows that you have great leadership skills and work well. There are multiple confrences throughout the year that our chapter goes to and that also helps us have more leadership experiences.
