Kas Talbot

Kas is a sophmore at Upton High School! She started FCCLA in 2012. This is her third year. Eighth grade year, she didn't do FCCLA. She is the current chapter secretary. She did a scrapbook in the 2012/13 school year and last year did a Shriners Carnival Chapter Service Display project with another member. This year, she plans on taking on two projects, the first being an Illustrated Talk project on bullying. The next is a community service project to raise money, buy material, and make tie blankets. She then wants to deliver them to young cancer patients. She joined FCCLA because she thought it always seemed fun. She believes FCCLA will make her more responsible and make things easier to approach. Her aspirations for the future are pursuing a career in counseling and to continue doing projects on bullying and suicide to get more feedback for experience and suggestions for her practice. The sport she is in is track. Outside of school, she likes to be outside and be wild with her friends. She is always making personal records and is going above and beyond peoples' expectations. Her goal for FCCLA is to attend the National Leadership Conference at least once in her FCCLA career.
