Kaylee Johnston

Kaylee is a sophmore at UHS! This is her fourth year in FCCLA. She has been secretary the past three years and is now the chapter president.  She has done a Chapter Service Display entitled Toys for the Children and received bronze at state. She did a Promote and Publicize and got silver at both state and Nationals. Last year she did a Suicide Prevention Illustrated Talk and got silver. She plans on doing a project for the senior citizens in Upton. She wants to raise money for them and to have bingo nights and other fun things. She joined FCCLA because she loves what it does for her community and that she enjoyed meeting new people. She thinks FCCLA will help her in her career, scholarships and her community and future. She wants to go to college for basics in Wyoming and then to a better college to be a pediatrician or OB-GYN. She also participates in volleball, basketball, track, and golf. Outside of school she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, sleeping, working out, and walking her dog. Her greatest achievements outside of FCCLA are getting the Presidential Achievment Award, being on honor roll, and going to New Mexico for the International Youth Hunter Education Challenge in 2015. Her goals for FCCLA are to get gold at state or enough to go to Nationals in the summer of 2016.
